Damit 9 Neuzugänge und 30 Absagen (wenn ich mich nicht vertan habe). 36 Bands + 4 talent competition winner kommen noch. Also kann man insgesamt noch mit 15 Künstlern mehr als 2020 rechnen.

Auch wenn das mit dem zusätzlichen Head schon eine Ansage ist, erwarte ich gerade für die zweiten Reihen am Do, Fr und Sa noch einiges. Das sind schon einige schmerzhafte Absagen für mich, neben den Heads u. a. Anderson .Paak, Cage the Elephant, Charli XCX, Refused, HAIM, Tove Lo, City and Colour und Kali Uchis. Dazu noch die unklare Situation, auf welchem Gelände das Festival überhaupt stattfinden soll.

Ob die Deftones dann ‚Passenger‘ spielen?

Würde dafür alles geben. Gab´s nicht mal so ne Story von der Deftones / APC Show in Köln(?) 2004 ca wo das auch erfragt wurde, aber Chino meinte, dass MAynard kein Bock hätte o.ä.? . Bezüglich Puscifer wurde ja schon angekündigt, dass es 2021 ne Welttournee geben wird, also sinken die Chancen auf Tool Konzerte im Sommer.
Insgesamt liest sich das Line-up auf jeden Fall sehr gut. Brutus ebenfalls gebucht, sehr schön; Chubby and the Gang sind anscheinend hoch im Kurs neben Riot Fest jetzt auch noch ne Buchung dort, nicht schlecht. Allerdings wurde das Album auch von Pitchfork mit 8,0 bewertet...nicht dass hier einige bald feucht werden...

Auf die zahlreichen Kommentare, was mit Armin van Buuren ist, hat das Team vom Airbeat immer zwischen den Zeilen zu verstehen gegeben, dass er wohl noch dazu kommt ("Das Line Up ist noch nicht komplett, da kommt noch einiges ") Ebenso wurde immer wieder auf die Kommentare mit Wünschen bezüglich Martin Garrix und DJ Snake reagiert. Auf alle anderen Wünsche wurde nicht eingegangen.

Armin van Buuren, DJ Snake und Martin Garrix zu den bereits bestätigten Afrojack, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Don Diablo, Marshmello, Steve Aoki und Timmy Trumpet wäre schon eine sehr große Headlinerzeile.

Interessant noch: Auf Instagram wurde natürlich gefragt was mit dem für 2020 gebuchten Kendrick Lamar passiert. Amtwort war, dass er 2021 nicht zurückkehrt. Damit das erste Festival, dass das offiziell geschrieben hat, nachdem es schon Insider-Stimmen und verschiedene Line Ups angedeutet haben.
Damit dürften das Glastonbury, Roskilde und NOS Alive zwei Headliner ersetzen müssen, denn genau die hatten Taylor Swift und Kendrick Lamar gebucht.

ich finde, dass die und die darunter (abgsehen von Social Distortion und Anti-Flag) die unpolitischen ansprechen.
Insgesamt mal wieder Bombenline-up und stark, dass Deftones endlich mal ein solches Festival headlinen dürfen. Mit nem neuen Album im Gepäck vermutlich verdient. Bei RaR wäre dann wieder so Centerstage 3.letzter Slot...

Ich finde es interessant, wie ‚mächtig’ die Bands aus der Nu Metal Ära immer noch oder wieder sind. Die nachfolgenden Heavy-Trends wie Metalcore, Djent oder Deathcore haben es irgendwie nie so richtig geschafft, bis ganz nach oben zu klettern.
