Also Wardruna hat musikalisch mit Black Metal und Metal überhaupt nichts am Hut, deswegen bin ich ja auch erst draufgekommen, da mal reinzuhören. War halt bei YouTube in der Vorschlagsliste von einem Sólstafir-Lied. Leider haben die Leute dahinter halt den Hintergrund, da bin ich dann aber erst nach weiteren Erkundigungen draufgekommen.

Wardruna kommen aus der Black Metal-Szene. Einar Selvik, der Mastermind hinter dem Projekt (und seit Gaahls Austritt auch Sänger), hat sich schon mehrfach offen gegen Rechtsextremismus ausgesprochen. Ein Grund für dieses Projekt ist es, den Leuten die nordische Mythologie, Runen, etc. wieder näher zu bringen - losgelöst von dem Missbrauch dessen durch die Nazis.

Ja, das ist mir durchaus klar. Ich hab aber erst reingehört und mich dann über die Band informiert. Mehr wollte ich gar nicht sagen. Musikalisch hat es ja nichts mit Black Metal zu tun, es ist ja wie du gesagt hast eher spirituell ausgelegt. Dass die aus der Szene kommen, war mir dann spätestens nach dem Lesen diverser Wikipedia-Artikel bewusst

Edit: Ah, jetzt hab ich deinen Beitrag erst richtig gelesen (&verstanden). Alles klar, danke für die Information. Gaahl hat halt diese "Untermenschen"-Aussage gemacht - zwar auch wieder relativiert, aber das hat dann halt alles einen fahlen Beigeschmack, auch wenn er nicht bei dabei ist.

Vor 2 Wochen wurde Other Lives der Tourvan geklaut, inkl. dem Equipment und all der Instrumente. Der Van ist wieder aufgetaucht, ohne das Equipment natürlich. Mir fällt da grad was ein, da ich mal bei Poisonfree (PFX) angemeldet war, einem ziemlich politisch korrekten Hardcore Board, und da ging es auch mal um Boysetsfire bzw. um ein Musikvideo bei dessen Ende als Outro irgendein Lied von einem islamfeindlichen Liedermacher oder so genutzt wurde. Ich weiß aber leider nciht, ob es den Thread noch gibt. Müsste ich jetzt lange nach suchen.
