"Losers" gab es sogar schon eine Weile bei Spotify (als Single zusammen mit "(No) Reason To Believe"), wurde jetzt aber nochmal neu aufgenommen. Ansonsten vollste Zustimmung beim letzten Satz.
Ah okay, Losers ist auf jeden Fall richtig richtig gut. Hab mir nochmal fix ein Ticket für den Support bei den Menzingers geholt.PastorOfMuppets hat geschrieben: ↑Mo 6. Leider nicht gut. Bitte einfach R.E.M. wiedervereinigen. Danke.
During the Christmas period we lost an integral part of the ASIWYFA family with the untimely and tragic loss of our friend Andrew Dunbar.
Simply put, without Andrew, And So I Watch You From Afar would not exist in the way that we do today.
As we try and process this unfathomable loss, a few things have become apparent, namely that for the first time in our career - we need to take a moment. The old stoic adage of “The show must go on”, feels redundant. We need to find a little space, we need to re-evaluate, we need to mourn and we need to heal - but most of all, we need to remember.
This announcement was originally intended to give you the release date and details for Jettison which is unequivocally our most ambitious project to date.
We planned to hype up our theatre tour of the UK. We planned to tell you in detail the full scope of the show with video walls, projections, special audio systems and ask you to join us on a journey where together, we circumnavigate the 3D netherworld that we created over the course of the last 2.5 years, all brought to life by the incomparably genius mind of Sam Wiehl. We planned to give you the 411 on how we came up with an unique distribution model for the record and how it would be released both physically and digitally through a charity close to our hearts, only for that to falter on the eve of the election as we were considered ’too political’ for statements we made. We planned to tell you that our musical hero Neil Fallon from the interstellar space rockers Clutch and our friend and inspiration Emma Ruth Rundle were the narrators through our Jettison story. We planned to spread our joy. We planed to tell you about some long overdue European and USA action.
All that is irrelevant now as recent events have dictated that Jettison has now taken on a new meaning for us - one that we never expected. Out of tragedy, there must come triumph and we have made the extremely difficult decision to postpone the release of Jettison and the tour in order to refine it as a legacy testimony to our fallen brother Andrew.
Our Jettison shows in Norwich / Bath / London/ Glasgow and Leeds will be moved to September - more details to follow.
In tribute to Andrew and in an effort to share both laughter and tears with those closest to him, we will still be performing our scheduled preview show in Belfast on January 11th / our debut album anniversary show in Derry on January 25th and our headline slot at Complexity Fest on February 15th. We will be donating to the Public Initiative for Prevention of Suicide (PIPS) in Andrew’s name from these performances.
We have never done anything like this before during the history of the band and we thank you for guiding us through un-chartered waters. Smooth sailing from here on out……...

Die haben mich bisher ja sowas von kalt gelassen, konnte nie verstehen, wie die so groß geworden sind. Aber "It Might Be Time" finde ich auch ziemlich cool.glutexo2000 hat geschrieben: ↑Do 9. Jan 2020, 15:40Tame Impala finde ich ziemlich nice. Das Album könnte echt was werden.
