He asked for no special treatment and made no special demands. I dont remember but im almost positive he didnt ask for any money. Ill never forget his new balance sneakers. Here was a man who has lived life at the zenith of wealth and celebrity. He has volumes of work that have succeeded both commercially and intellectually. He's british. By definition he should have been the most pretentious man in the universe. But he just wasnt. The purpose of an artist is ultimately to unite. The most courageous ones travel to difficult places so that the rest of dont have to and we can all feel less alone. There are so many human failings that can mar this beautifully altruistic goal but mr bowie seemed to have navigated this minefield and remain a humanist first and artist second. I cant really explain how life affirming that particular facet of my interaction with him was....... Thank you mr bowie for so many things. You did this life very well." - Jaleel Bunton

Glenn Frey, Gitarrist der Eagles, ist heute im Alter von 67 Jahren verstorben.

Wollte im Gitarrenunterricht mal "Hotel California" lernen. Mein Lehrer meinte nur, ich soll erstmal 20 Jahre auf Profiniveau spielen, dann können wir da nochmal drüber reden...ich hatte aber auch kein Talent für das Instrument Hätte sie gern mal noch live gesehen...immerhin hat er ja bis jetzt mitgemacht.

Wirklich sehr lesenswert! Reznor beschreibt u.a. wie Bowie ihm bei seinem Drogenproblem geholfen hat und wie die Tour mit ihm zusammen war.
