Master of Puppets ist großartig, keine Frage. Aber kann mit Metallicas wirklich besten Album nicht mithalten.

Auf der #2 DAS zentrale Hip Hop-Album der Zeit.
Vor allem was die Beats und Cuts angeht, sowas von seiner Zeit voraus, fast jeder Track präsentiert grandiose Ideen und vor allem haben sie einen Punch, den vorher niemand und danach vlt. erst NWA wieder hatten. Neben den Hits möchte ich da auf "Nights of the Living Baseheads" verweisen: wie viel Energie die Raps und Beats haben, wie sie hin- und herspringen und mit den Samples spielen (Dieser Übergang mit "Brothers and Sisters...I'm talking about...BASS!") einfach nur fantastisch.
Dazu Chuck Ds authentisch angepisste Energie und ja auch Flavor Favs völlig absurde Ad-Libs runden dieses total überzeugende Ding ab.
